Virtual Therapist (Registered in Ontario)
- Must be available for one evening per week
- Weekend availability as needed
- Flexible daytime schedule
Hybrid Therapist (within 40 minutes of Brantford clinic)
- Must be available for one evening per week

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking enthusiastic, dynamic, and motivated Registered Social Workers and Psychotherapists who:
- Hold a Master’s degree (MSW or MACP; Doctorate; )
- OR OR Registered Psychotherapist (RP)
- Are registered with CRPO or OCSWSSW — at this time OCSWSSW is an asset
- Have post-graduate certification in two or more therapeutic modalities, such as: DBT, ACT, EFT, EFCT, Narrative Therapy, IFS, CBT, BSFT, CPT, MBSR, EMDR, Trauma-focused Care, Gottman Method (for couples), Relational Family Therapy
- Have minimum 3 years of experience, able to work independently
- For virtual sessions, you must have access to a quiet and confidential working space with no disruptions to your sessions
- Have experience with at least two client groups: individuals, couples, or families
- Experience with specialized groups is a plus: 2SLGBTQI+, racialized individuals, international communities, Indigenous Peoples, post-secondary students, veterans, first responders, chronic illness clients
Skills & Attributes
- Tech Comfortable: Proficient with Microsoft Office, practice management software, electronic medical records, and the Jane app (mandatory)
- Proficient with the Jane app; attendance at mandatory Jane app training required
- Friendly & Professional: Warm, approachable, excellent interpersonal skills, creates a safe and respectful client environment
- Organized & Ethical: Maintains accurate clinical files and case notes; follows PHIPA, PIPEDA, Mental Health Act, Health Care Consent Act, Substitute Decision Makers’ Act, Child and Family Services Act, AODA, and Regulated Health Professionals Act
- Flexible: Availability for one evening per week, potential weekend and daytime shifts; able to schedule at least 5 consecutive client appointments; in-person work for a minimum of 10 hours/week (or 2 shifts), with a third shift virtual
- Professional Headshot Required: Local Brantford photographer provided; arrangements for outside Brantford to be discussed
- Location Requirement: For hybrid work in Ontario, must permanently reside within 40 minutes of the Brantford clinic; candidates from other provinces may discuss alternative arrangements for virtual or hybrid work
- Growth-Oriented: Committed to anti-oppressive practice, self-reflection, professional development, and ongoing continuing education
- Language Skills (Asset): Ability to provide counselling in Spanish or French
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychotherapy and counselling services aligned with professional and New Beginnings Counselling standards
- Work with individuals, couples, and families on trauma, PTSD, anxiety, chronic pain/illnesses, and mind-body challenges
- Maintain detailed, confidential clinical records
- Collaborate with colleagues in team consultations, training, and professional development
- Contribute to a supportive, client-centered practice culture
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree (required)
- Licensure: Registered Social Worker or Psychotherapist in Ontario
- Experience: Minimum 3 years (trauma, chronic pain, mental health experience preferred)
- Work Location: Hybrid in Ontario (Brantford clinic + virtual sessions); permanent residence within 40 minutes of the clinic required for in-person work. Candidates from other provinces may discuss alternative arrangements for virtual or hybrid work
- Job Type: Part-time, contract
- Hours: Minimum 5 hours/week, including availability for virtual sessions
